Diving Pool Sparger Systems
Diving Pool Sparger Systems
Air-cushion bubble systems that soften the water surface for safer diving training.
A diving sparger, or air-cushion system, releases air from diffusers in the base of the pool to create a column of bubbles at the surface beneath a diving board or platform. The aerated water cushions the diver's entry and helps the diver judge the surface, making it easier to practise and repeat dives, particularly higher-difficulty entries. The bubble action is operator-controlled and switched on for each dive. These systems are used in diving training and aquatic performance venues.
Features
- Stainless-steel perforated diffusers mounted in the pool base, with embedded or recessed-channel installation
- Valve control to tune air volume and bubble distribution for different dive heights
- Operator-activated bubbling, switched on for each dive entry
- Control panel with selectable modes for training and platform work
- Airline manifolds fed by a blower or compressor sized for continuous-duty use
- Chlorinated- and saltwater-compatible components
- Pressure monitoring and emergency shut-off for safe operation
Technical details
- Function: aerated bubble cushion that softens the water surface at the entry point
- Materials: stainless-steel diffusers and airline components
- Air supply: rotary or screw compressor / blower sized to the installation
- Control: valve-managed air delivery with emergency cut-off and pressure sensing
- Design: aeration column sized to the diving height and pool geometry per project
