The Lynx Ultrasonic Wind Gauge uses World Athletics-approved ultrasonic technology to measure wind speed and direction. It has no moving parts for maintenance-free operation and is housed in a robust, corrosion-free casing. Non-mechanical wind gauges are required at all International Competitions under World Athletics Technical Rule 17.9. The gauge connects directly to an EtherLynx camera, connection box, SeriaLynx unit, or computer serial port so live wind data integrates with FinishLynx, and a standalone option is available.
