Common questions

• Which Microgate system is right for a club versus a federation event? Witty is ideal for clubs and training squads; the REI2 / Racetime2 platforms cover federation-level events with redundant printing, multi-channel inputs and ratified output. We will scope this with you based on the events you run.
• Are Microgate systems compatible with World Athletics or FIS rules? Yes — Microgate timing electronics are used at FIS World Cup ski races, World Athletics events and FEI competitions, and meet the technical requirements for officially recognised results when configured correctly.
• Can I expand a Witty or Optojump kit later? Both are modular by design. Optojump runways extend in 1 m increments up to 30 m, and Witty kits accept additional gates, displays and RFID accessories. TIKTRA holds compatible add-ons in stock.
